On December 2, the closing ceremony of the national finals of the 14th National Transportation Industry "Baitong Kexin Cup" New Energy Vehicle Maintenance Worker (Student Group) Vocational Skills Competition was held in Haikou City, Hainan Province. Chongqing Lixin Vocational Education Center, Jiangsu Provincial Traffic Technician College, Beijing Traffic and Transportation Vocational College, and Anhui Traffic Vocational and Technical College won the first prize of the student group.

The competition is divided into two parts: theoretical knowledge competition and skill operation competition, based on the goals and requirements of the "New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)" and "Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicle Technology Roadmap 2.0". The skill operation competition closely follows the development of the industry and sets up two competitions: fault diagnosis and elimination of new energy vehicles, and operation and maintenance and testing of energy storage and charging devices. Assess the professional skills and literacy of the participating teams, such as data inquiry, tool use, analysis and handling of on-site problems, and work efficiency, show the good spirit of the participating teams, promote the improvement of the quality of vocational education, and cultivate high-quality workers and technical talents. A total of 76 players from 38 colleges and universities across the country competed on the same stage in the student group of the competition, fully demonstrating the demeanor and vitality of students majoring in new energy vehicle maintenance.
